La quarantaduesima edizione dei Brit Awards ha visto trionfare Adele sul palco della The O2 Arena di Londra vincendo ben tre premi. Grazie all'album 30, Adele viene premiata come artista dell'anno e vince nelle categorie British Album of the Year e British Song of the Year grazie a Easy On Me. Inoltre, la cantante ha portato a casa un altro record musicale diventando la prima artista femminile britannica a vincere dieci statuette.

Tra i vintori di questa edizione, Dua Lipa, Sam Fender e Billie Eilish. Nessun premio per i Maneskin che arrivavano ai Brit Awards forti di ben due candidature: International Group of the Year e Best International Song of the Year con il brano I Wanna Be Your Slave. In quest'ultima categoria, ha ottenuto la statuetta Olivia Rodrigo grazie a Good 4U.
